Teens and their Money
Most teens like me don't really know how to manage their money the right way. I mean, look at teens like me. Not all of us know about money management. It's not even in the school curriculum. I am lucky to get to know money management because one of my friends introduced me to a course that teaches about money management.
Since most high schools in Canada don't give a course about money management, in the future, teens are actually going to have money management problems. For example, most teens right now spend their parents' money. Even if they have a job, they are spending more than they are making and do not save and plan, and this can result in large amounts of debt.
Teens also have problems with managing the money that they already have. In fact, a lot of teens spend more than they actually have! And believe it or not, most of the things they spend their money on are what they actually don't need! In addition, a lot of teens depend on parents to do all the financial work. For example, if a teen spends money using their credit card, at the end of each month, their parents deal with the bills themselves!
So in conclusion, teens are better off when they know more about money management. That also applies to you. Money management skills are crucial. Remember: How well you take care of the money you make will have a big impact on your life
